An international law firm has two fabulous job opportunities for Information Officers to join a highly professional and well-regarded Library and Information Service working from home and at their Leeds office. The team provide the business with access to Knowledge and Information services, systems and resources.
What you’ll be doing:
You will provide a varied range of services and expertise to a particular area of the organisation.
These will include:
Performing client due diligence researching companies and regulatory status
Assisting lawyers with legal research
Providing current awareness news duties across the global organisation.
Working in a team on various projects
If you have already worked in a Library and Information Service in a law firm or professional services firm that would be ideal. If you have Information services experience gained from a different sector you will need to demonstrate your enthusiasm to develop into this role.
You should possess a good understanding of Information and Knowledge Management principles and practices including the knowledge of secondary information and research databases. Experience in the use of research resources such as Lexis, Westlaw and Justis would be ideal as would a practical understanding of AML due diligence procedures.You should have first-rate communication and interpersonal skills.
